After a non-eventful subway trip in which newspapers are passed back and forth and a chicken sandwich is consumed we arrive at the monster sized ballpark in Queens.

As the sun burns my forehead, the Amazin's work on a comeback, struggling to tie the ballgame in the later innings.
Mitch enjoys the weather and tosses baseball trivia questions to Dan, Jamie and Chris. Unable to answer, I spend my time looking around, noticing all the children who have eaten so much cotton candy their entire faces are blue.

The Mets lose in extra innings but that doesn't damper our spirits. Our Saturday baseball gang heads to midtown for a movie, and then out to Sunset Park for a night of bowling!
