with jackets and hats providing needed warmth, dan, jamie and chris stand around east 34th street. no one expected to wait until 1:30am for the circus to finally make it through the queens midtown tunnel.

chris returns from the deli bearing snacks (note the elephant on the packaging). the waiting in the cold continues. chris returns to the deli and claims to read articles in brill's content, uninterested in rack after rack of porn.

so where's the guy breathing fire? these are just elephants racing through the street! where's the circus vibe i was expecting? those protesters down the street are getting a lot more out of this.

yet another grainy photograph! this time it's a few camels. i never managed to photograph the 2 llamas or 6 horses. i did take a photo of the sanitation truck spraying the street. that photo was way too clear to post. it wouldn't have matched this "surveillance camera" look.
