4th of july!
an afternoon party in kris and julie's backyard, followed by fireworks viewing on sheila's rooftop
to everyone's delight, chris positions himself behind the grill for the first course of veggie burgers and kabobs.
inbetween ferrying the food from the grill to the table, kris takes a moment to enjoy the delicious aromas.
jim couldn't be more relaxed. and sadie has found a new friend.

nightfall arrives before anyone realizes, and a few from the party venture to sheila's roof where there's a lot of goofy picture-taking before the fireworks actually begin.
